Sabria McGuire began her law enforcement
career in 1978 in St. Martin Parish. She started
at the Franklin Police Department in 1983 as a
dispatcher and after a short period of time
moved up in rank to police officer and assigned
as the Juvenile officer for the Department.
Later, she became Detective where she worked
felony and narcotic investigations. In 1998, she
left to work at the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's
Office as Chief of Narcotics and served on the
St. Mary Parish Task Force.
In 1994, she went back home to the Franklin
Police Department as Detective Lieutenant. She
became police chief in 1997. Her hobbies include
playing golf and she enjoys spending time with
her family.
