 Essential Functions

Process and prioritize incoming calls

Receive and record emergency and routine business calls

Dispatch city emergency forces and/or other resource agencies

Operate CAD equipment

Monitor and operate multiple police and fire frequencies

Monitor and operate silent alarm panel and notify responsible parties

Conduct inquiries on individuals using the automated wants and warrants system

Perform routine clerical work

Work rotating shift schedules, weekends and holidays

 Minimum Requirements

Requires high school diploma or equivalent

Must be 18 years of age upon date of hire

Must pass a background check and drug test

Must have proof of legal authorization of employment in the United States

Cannot have any felony arrest or convictions

Must have a current valid Louisiana driverís license
